"You can begin to feel the bloom of Scotland."

- SEE IT, FEEL IT, LOVE IT -

Welcome to Scotland!

Highlands Scotland

Situated within vibrant Europe, Scotland is a progressive nation built on dynamism, creativity and the fabulous warmth of its people.

The history of Scotland is fascinating and complex; there are Roman soldiers, Vikings, noble clansmen and powerful monarchs.

When you look at a map of Scotland, you may think it’s a small country, and you are right!! Scotland is composed of seven cities only, Aberdeen,  Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Perth and Stirling. It has also,  800 small islands some of which you've probably heard of, like the northern isles of Shetland and Orkney, the Hebrides, Arran and Skye for instance.

Scotland might be a small country, but it has an amazing variety of things to see and do. From vibrant, bustling cities, to beautiful hills, sparkling lochs and stunning landscapes, there are plenty of treasures to discover.

Each region also has its own distinct character, which makes this wee country so unique! Sure thing, you will fall in love with it.

Home to just under 500,000 people, Edinburgh has been the capital of Scotland since 1437 when it replaced Scone. However, Edinburgh’s population swells to more than double this when people come from all over the world for the summer festivals. During the month of August, the city gets very busy as it hosts the world’s largest arts festival, Fringe Festival! And everything from small side-street venues to large concert halls brims with artists and tourists from all over the globe.

New Year is also an amazing time of year to visit Edinburgh when the Hogmanay celebrations take place and the city hosts some of the world’s biggest street parties!

Scotland’s capital city has also an impressive range of dining options with more restaurants per head than any other city in the UK. It goes from five Michelin-starred restaurants to traditional pubs and street food also.

In 2017, Edinburgh was ranked second best in the world for quality of life and in 2020, it was named the best UK city to live in. And we totally agree!

Edinburgh is certainly one of the most historic cities in the United Kingdom, its tower buildings make Edinburgh’s skyline so unique.
